Fibre eligibility and technical assessment in Marrakech

Would you like to know whether an address may be eligible for a fiber connection, or have an issue observed in your home documented? WifiUrgence can review the available information for a preliminary eligibility assessment and document technical conditions observable indoors. This process does not confirm fiber availability and does not replace the operator’s own checks or installation.

A preliminary assessment, not confirmation of connectivity

A fibre eligibility request can be reviewed based on the information available, but this assessment does not guarantee that fibre is available at an address or that a connection can be installed. Only the relevant operator can confirm network availability and arrange any potential installation.

The initial request is an inquiry to assess the situation, not a firm booking or appointment confirmation. Any missing information or details that need to be checked will be clarified during the conversation.

What a technical assessment can describe

An assessment can describe items that are visible or can be checked inside the home, such as the presence and apparent condition of the PTO, the indoor cable, the router, or observed symptoms. It helps present the available facts without drawing conclusions about the condition of a network the service cannot inspect.

This is not an official statement from the operator, a guarantee of repair, or certification of eligibility. Any work or equipment that falls under the operator’s responsibility must be checked with them directly.

What remains the provider's responsibility

WifiUrgence is an independent service and is not affiliated with any operator. It does not work on PBO/FAT boxes, street cabinets, the external network, or equipment belonging to the operator.

If an in-home diagnostic visit is needed, the visit and technical assessment cost 200 DH, payable upon arrival. Any repairs or equipment supplied must be explained and agreed to separately before any work is carried out.

What information should you provide?

For an initial assessment, provide your neighbourhood, type of home, and any information you already have about the installation or connection request. Do not send passwords or private documents that are not needed for the discussion.

To report a fault, describe the symptoms and, if you can, share a photo of the router lights or visible indoor equipment. Do not dismantle the PTO (optical termination point) or handle your operator’s equipment.

Frequently asked questions

What to Know Before You Request a Service

Does the assessment confirm that fibre is available at my address?

No. This is a preliminary assessment based on the information available. The relevant provider must confirm service availability and whether installation is possible.

Is the technical assessment an official certificate from the operator?

No. It describes only observable indoor components and does not certify either service eligibility or the condition of the external network. WifiUrgence is an independent service.

Does requesting an assessment reserve an appointment?

No. Requesting an assessment is not a firm booking. If an in-home diagnostic visit is arranged afterward, the visit and diagnostic cost 200 DH, payable on arrival.
