What Does an In-Home Fiber Diagnostic Check?
The diagnostic focuses on items that are visible or accessible inside the home: the optical termination point (PTO), the route of the indoor cable, visible connections, and the router. Depending on the installation conditions, the optical signal level may also be checked.
The aim is to describe what was examined and what can be concluded from it. Observed symptoms, such as an outage or an unusual indicator light, are taken into account, but they are not always enough to identify the exact cause of a fault.
A visit focused on your indoor installation
The visit covers the fiber installation inside your home, in Marrakech and the surrounding areas. It does not include opening PBO/FAT boxes, accessing street cabinets, handling the external network, or modifying equipment belonging to an operator.
If the problem appears to be outside the home, the technician will explain the relevant findings so you can submit a request to your internet provider. The diagnosis does not guarantee that the provider will repair an external fault.
What’s useful to prepare
Tell us your neighbourhood, what was happening when the fault occurred, and which indicator lights you can see. If possible, share a photo of the router and PTO without taking anything apart. Keep the indoor equipment accessible so it can be inspected.
Do not unplug or clean the optical connector yourself. If you have already spoken with your operator, note the information they gave you, but do not send passwords or documents containing private information.
Price and any additional work
The home visit and technical diagnostic cost 200 DH, payable on arrival. This published rate covers the visit and diagnostic; it does not mean that every repair is automatically included.
Any repair or equipment supply, if needed, must be explained and approved separately before any work is done. The service is limited to the indoor installation and is not affiliated with any operator.
